I'm 19 yrs old with big ambitions.
I want to succeed in art, modeling, and music.
Art
I've been drawing ever since about 2002 doing anime style art, keeping at that style for a couple of years, and have progressed into real life. I also do photography and I like to photoshop. I'm currently drawing comics of me and my cookie, Brian xD
Music
I love music. I play bass, guitar and piano ( although not recent with piano lately lol).
I want to learn cello, double bass, and maybe violin.
My Life Story
I was born in Clark's Air Force Base, in the Philippines on May 6th 1989 to my Filipino mum and my American dad. Which is why I have long legs xD. My parents divorced when I was 5 I think lol. So I was always being moved back and forth with them. Anyways, for some reason, they decided to live together, but not get re-married, but we moved to Oklahoma in 1998, I think, and that's when I got into anime and manga, and video games.
We moved back to Tampa and I went to middle school. It was a way different scene than elementary school. I went to school with all the "city" kids who acted ghetto. It was a waaaaay different scene, and I was kind of anti social and kept to myself. I did have 2 friends, and one of them , stayed my friend until early 2008.
As I went to high school, I drew all the damn time and got less focused in school. But I made good enough grades to pass. Some classes I liked so I would do well in them. I mostly, just drew all day though and drowned myself in anime. I wanted to be an manga-ka and a model. I went to Barbizon modeling casting call, and I was chosen to take modeling classes by them, but my family couldn't afford it, so I had to let that opportunity slide away.
And in 2006, my friend started a visual kei band, and asked me to be the guitarist. So I accepted and learned guitar. It was pretty easy to learn the basics of guitar. We then planned to move to Ireland after graduation, to live with our future bassist.
When we saved up enough money and packed everything, we departed for Ireland. It was a whole new world. Everything was different from America, and much better lol. The band thing went ok for the first couple of weeks, but all of a sudden my friend didn't like the bassist, and secretly kicked her out, but we were still living at the bassist's house. Over time, the band thing just faded, me and my friend, had boyfriends and were working. But after awhile, I felt like, this shit isn't going anywhere, so I left Ireland and went back to America. My friend got mad at me, but I didn't think it was fair to be wasting the other person's time with us living at her house, if she wasn't in the band anymore.
When I got back to America, I started to go to clubs, and I just wanted to work and have fun for abit, so I worked as a nanny for my mom's friend.
And then, my friend wanted to go back to Ireland after she came back to the U.S. She claimed" it was for the band" but I think it was because she had her boyfriend she wanted to be with. And I told her that and to do whatever she wants, and she exploded on me and said I sucked at guitar and I'm worthless, but then an hour later showed up at the door, apologizing.
However, by that time, I was starting to get sick of her shit, so I hung out with her one last time at concert. I moved in with a friend of mine at his place and we had rave parties, and I became more spiritually aware to the world around me and more appreciative of life. I learned alot in the 3 months I was my friend's room mate. We always had spiritual talks about everything.
And then 3 months later, I moved to South Carolina, where I currently reside planning what I want to accomplish in the future and saving all my money. I have a fantastic boyfriend, who is just amazing, physically,spiritually and mentally, and we're going to get married hopefully in December.
Hopefully when we get everything settled, I can revive my old modeling ambitions and actually get somewhere with it. I just try to keep positive and remember that Everything happens for a reason. And if you do good in life, the karma will come back to reward you with all of life's happiness.
